Welcome to TrueVoIP platform. Your account on this system will allow you to make calls, receive and manage voicemails, chat with other users in the organization and much more.
This getting started guide is designed to help you navigate to the TrueVoIP Manager Portal, a web interface that allows you to access and control your account. You will learn about the TrueVoIP Manager Portal home page, the application tabs, the configuration options for those applications, and how they change the behavior of the application.
Accessing the TrueVoIP Manager Portal
To manage your account you will use the TrueVoIP Manager Portal, a web interface that allows you to easily communicate with others and manage your account.
The TrueVoIP Portal Home Page
This is the TrueVoIP Portal Home tab which you will be taken to after logging in. From here, you can listen to, save, delete, download, or forward voicemail messages in your account. You can also view your recent call history and change your active Answering Rule.
In the upper right corner you will find the links to edit your profile, logout of the portal, launch the help portal, or open the TrueVoIP Web Client.
Click on your name and extension, then choose Profile from the drop down list to edit your profile. You'll notice that you can edit your First Name, Last Name, Timezone, Directory Options, and Voicemail PIN. Your Called ID and 911 Caller ID can only be edited by your administrator.
The Messages app in the TrueVoIP Manager Portal is where you can see and manage your voicemails, chats, and message settings.
The Voicemail tab is where you can listen to, delete, save, download, or forward your voicemail messages.
The Chat tab is where you can read, reply to, and delete chat conversations. You can also click the New Conversation button in the upper right corner to start a new conversation.
The Settings tab is where you can enable/disable voicemail, change basic voicemail options, manage your voicemail greetings, and change your voicemail-to-email settings.
